Why does my Mac not show any updates?

Please help us help you by providing as much info as possible,. We can neither seen nor touch your computer and must rely on your for important details. We are your fellow end users, not Apple, and have no remote access tools other that what you tell us.

• What are you trying to update? The opertating system? An app?
• What macOS version is it now running?
• What is the sub-model—the info with a year—of your MacBook pro. Older models have limits on the highest macOS that they can use.

So...find your SUB-MODEL info and current macOS version from "About this Mac..." Example:

Let us know what you find but PLEASE do not post a serial number. The Mods will remove the information and we will be back to Square One.
