after i compose a new email to someone, I'm not able to send because I cannot find the "send"button??

If you do not see the paper airplane on the top toolbar, right click on the Toolbar>choose Customize Toolbar> Drag the send button to the Toolbar.

Or Shift+CMD+D to send it.
