can't sync 1 specific playlist

hi, i'm on ios 14.7.1 and macos 11.5.1.

I use the Music app to sync mp3s from my macbook to my iphone. works as expected with smart playlists as well as manual playlists.

there is 1 specific smart playlist that will not sync. it's a list of the 150 most recently added songs to the Music app.

when i check for it to sync in the finder window, it shows that it's copying songs over, but when i go to my phone, the playlist is empty with no songs.

i'm not getting any error messages. any ideas on what to do?

Have you had the chance to delete, recreate that playlist?

thank you, deleting and recreating it has worked for the moment, hopefully permanently. i guess that's the equivalent of turning it off and back on again lol.
