Welcome to the Apple Community.

It seems Safari 14.1.2 comes with the other apps, when you install the latest OS update, Big Sur 11.5.1

It seems MacBook Air models from mid 2013 and newer can run the latest version of macOS.

(You can find the year for your Mac by clicking the black apple icon in the to Menu Bar and choosing "About this Mac")
