Share activity on apple watch error

For the past few days i havent been able to see my friends activity on my watch or phone, their activity circles was just grey. And i only had 5 friends. So i tried to remove my friends and add them again and i get the error message “there was an error sending your activity sharing invitation. Try sending it again.” Ive tried unpairing my watch, signing out of my icloud and restarting both my devices. And the error persists. Both my devices are up to date.

any ideas?
