Yes, but for all of those ways you first imported them to iTunes on your computer, then synced them to your phone. So to move them to a new phone you would sync the new phone to the same iTunes that has your content on your computer.

Well itunes on a mac or pc is a requirement and then you would need to purchase a 3rd party software like touch copy to move music from phone to your library, then sync the new phone to download the music.

Also phone to phone is why I asked about purchase music twice..
