Can you upgrade the SSD storage of the 16inch MBP?

Hi, I want to buy a 512GB MacBook Pro (16 inch) and I would like to know if I can upgrade the SSD memory after purchase to 1TB or so, by Apple or another party. I know for a fact that the RAM can’t be altered after purchase, but I’m not sure about the SSD...

In that model the storage is integral with the logic board and cannot be upgraded after leaving the factory. Buy now what you think your will need in two years, because the storage you buy now will be your "forever" storage.
