Hi anyone using AirPrint to hp officejet pro 9010e if so
is it working well?
easy to set up?
do I need to connect to wifi or will iPad Pro talk directly to printer?

yes, you need to connect the printer to the same wifi network which your iPad is connected to (no way to connect the printer directly to the iPad/iPhone).
Then, if the printer has AirPrint capabilities (see this list:--> About AirPrint - Apple Support), everything is okay.
