Can I move multiple photo albums into a folder?

I have a sneak suspicion that you can't move photo albums into a single folder to organize my photos (i.e. have all my kid's soccer picture albums in one folder labeled "Soccer"). I just don't understand why, can someone please explain?

You can only move albums you create yourself, not the albums created by photos.


How are you selecting and dragging the albums? The easiest way is to select the albums in the "My Albums" view. You can even draw a selection rectangle around the albums. Then open the folder in the sidebar and grab the selection and drag the selected albums into the open folder. For example dragging five selected albums at once:
