iPad microphone not working

I have an iPad 10.5 pro. The mic is very muffled/not working using FaceTime or voice memo, however it’s a clear as day using front or rear video. Siri can hear me as well. Tried all the usual things, apps enable etc

Erase your iPad (pls refer to this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201274 )

Restore your iPad (pls refer to this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184)

Hi,

Pls go to Settings- -> Voice Memos- -> Audio Quality (Pls see attached photo), make sure it’s set to Compressed.

If the above didn’t work, pls restart your iPad by pressing and holding the Top button and the Home button at the same time until you see an Apple Logo then it’s restarting and you can release your fingers.
