need password to unlock watch everytime

after new update I now have to unlock my apple watch with a passcode everytime??? WHY

Make sure that both your iPhone and Watch are updated to the IOS 17.7.1 and Watch OS 7.6.1

Also make sure that you have

Unlock with iPhone and Wrist detection turned on.

From your iPhone>Watch>Passcode> toggle them both on here.

14.7.1 on iPhone X Max & 7.6.1 on series 6 watch. Unlock from iPhone and wrist detection are on. Still cannot unlock watch with phonw. Must use pass ode.
