3 months of Apple TV

Hello

I purchase a new Apple watch and 2 new iPhone 12s and have received an email for 3 months free trial for Apple TV. Upon trying to sign up using the link provided in the email Apple wants to give me 7 days and then start billing. I tried this several times, same results. Please help.
