Target display doesn't work

Hey. I have 2019 iMac 27inch and a 2019 Macbook Pro 16inch. I recently bought a thunderbolt 3 to do the target display mode and it doesn't work. Why?

The 2019 iMac does not support being used as a display in Target Display Mode.

Target Display Mode won't Work I can't seem to get Target Display Mode to work with my MacBook Pro 2019 and my iMac Late 2013. Target Display Mode Not Working: iMac 27-inch, mid 2011 and MacBook Pro 2017 Hello, I have been trying to use my iMac (27 inch, mid 2011 w/OS High Sierra 10.13.6) as a second display with my macbook pro (13-inch, 2017, two thunderbolt 3 ports w/Catalina 10.15.7). I purchased the thunderbolt 2 > 3 adapter, and a thunderbolt 2 cord to connect to my imac. When i press Command + F2, my imac is not going into target display mode like all the forums mention. What am I doing wrong?

Please read up on TARget Display Mode, in short it is a dead product.
