Questions about prepare to ship

I have ordered and ipad three weeks before and it turns to prepare to ship on Tuesday. However, I have not seen the status change to shipped until Thursday. I am curious what happens since usually the status change within one day.

Did you Ask Apple?:

Contact Apple Support. They'll know where this all stands. Don't forget about where these are manufactured, and what is occurring: COVID. It's a matter of Supply & Demand.

Contact Apple Support:

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
