I was setting up a brandnew macbook air 2020 when it come to choose a login password screen upon initial setup and I entered it, it froze and restarted now all I get is the initial login screen when turned on but it won't accept my password or let me reset with my Apple ID credentials as it foes the gesture it is incorrect
Any advice? Or solutions?

Contact Apple Support:
If it got stuck in the middle somehow, then contact Apple Support. They'll run you though the fix.

If you cannot fix this, then contact Apple Support:
Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
