No tv remote to enter passcode
I have no remote to enter the passcode on apple tv to pair my iphone

If you have an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), then you will need a functional remote to help set up the software remote on your phone, to enter the code. You can use a temporarily borrowed remote for that. Or you can buy a replacement remote. You will need to link a replacement remote to the box, to be functional.
