airpods wont hold a full charge

My airpods wont hold charge more than 40 mins of talk time/or music time. They are still under 1 year warranty. My airpod case is 100% charged, when i put the airpods back into the case to charge. My phone shows me 100% CHARGED then 40 mins later they are beeping and telling me their 5% and dead. they left and right both do it.
