I’m trying to open a notification on my watch, but it’s saying I need to enable location permissions. Location services are already turned on. Anyone know why this is? My watch is a Gen 1.

Check also in your iPhone, under Settings > Privacy > Locations services. The setting there also applies to your Apple Watch.
If the issue persists, try if restarting both devices will fix the situation.
