airpods & case wont charge / stay charged
the airpods themselves wont stay charged and the case doesnt last that long. maybe about 15-20mins
does this mean they need to be replaced?

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that your AirPods and charging case won't stay charged past 15-20 minutes, and reviewing the Related Article If your AirPods won’t charge was a great idea! We're happy to help get you pointed in the right direction from here.
Try this step if you haven't already: Connect your iPhone to power, then place both AirPods in the charging case, and also connect the charging case to power. Open the lid to the charging case, and hold the case near the iPhone. Wait five minutes, then check to see if the case and/or AirPods are charging (which is indicated by a lightning bolt icon next to the battery bar).
If the AirPods and/or charging case still don't charge as expected, you might want to get them into the hands of a service center. Locate a service provider here:
