All of a sudden my apple tv 4k box that is only about 5 months old will not connect to the correct IP address. Did something change or was something updated as I have tried to enter the IP manually but nothing seems to work. Tried rebooting everything. Also did a reset. Please help?
Try testing on a different network. If it connects elsewhere, then the issue has to be on the home network rather than the device. Contact Support if the issue persists.
You shouldn’t have to use manual IP addresses. Your router should give devices an IP address (DHCP), by setting Apple to Auto IP (and Auto DNS).
Restart both your router and Apple TV for a fresh connection attempt.
As I said in my previous message I have done all the reboots and tried top reset the apple tv. The apple tv box will not grab the IP?
