Forget This Network missing

If the network is added by an organization using a profile, you cannot remove it. You must remove the profile. If you cannot remove the profile, you will need to reach out to your IT department.

If you ARE in the WiFi footprint, it should be removable by clicking on the blue “info” icon beside the network name.

Is there anything in Settings > General > Profiles? (If you don’t see this option, then there is nothing there.)

That option doesn’t exist on my iPad.

Below VPN it says Device Management.

We use Jamf to manage our devices.

On my private iPhone I see Profile below VPN.

We manage the devices and give them the Wi-fi settings for our campus but people can of course add other networks such as home or coffee shops for example.

Some users have connected to our campus guest network and it is this connection that I cannot seem to forget because there is not option to.

Sounds like you may have found a bug. You may have to restore your device, but I would contact Apple Support directly so they can at least document it first.

That’s right where I expect to find the option written in blue text “Forget This Network” but it simply isn’t there for the guest Wi-fi the user added themselves.

I don’t believe it’s possible to delete “known” networks in iOS like you can on Macs.

I certainly can’t on my iOS devices.

I believe you can only “delete a known network” if you are within that particular network’s transmission “footprint.”

It most definitely is, just can’t seem delete this specific Guest network the user joined but should not have.
