Gen 3 Apple TV remote

why won’t my Apple TV gen 3 remote do anything? No lights no nothing.? I have changed batteries several times.

Your remote may need to be linked again after battery replacement.

If your Apple TV remote isn't working - Apple Support (do both steps!)
