When using airdrop the receiving computer doesn't show the popup accept/decline notification. There's a notification sound, but no popup notification & so no way to accept. Does anyone know why and how to fix? This is a real hassle for me as I need to use it all the time and it is sooo flakey. Thank you.

Yes, but nothing was happening at the phone end minutes later. This is a bad design flaw IMO, feedback is essential and a progress ring on the iPhone should happen immediately transfer initiates. I rebooted the phone and it is working now. I have had this glitch repeatedly, maybe 15 times over the past 6 months. It is beyond a joke and must be happening to many many other users as well.
Are you sending things to your own Apple ID? If so, there is no option to accept or decline.
