My iPhone isn't ringing with incoming calls

Hi, here are different options:

1. Check your volume settings.
2. Verify that the airplane mode is on.
3. Make sure do not disturb is disabled.
4. Restart your phone.
5. Try doing factory reset (which removes malicious apps and other problematic data) but make sure you back up your iPhone first.
6. If it fails the cause of the issue might be due to physical damage so please get it repaired or get a replacement.

Make sure the side switch is not set on silent.

Make sure Do Not Disturb is off, and turn off Settings>Phone>Silence Unknown Callers.

Airplane mode must be OFF for the phone to ring.

Is it all incoming calls or just the ones not in your contacts?

Check the mute switch on the side of your iPhone, check the ringer volume, and make sure Do Not Disturb is not on.

If it is only unknown calls that don't ring go to Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers = Off

There will never be malicious apps on a phone that has not been jailbroken.
