I have a MacBook Pro 16" running Mac OS 11.4 and latest iMovie 10.2.4
I can open and edit in iMovie but when I export it crashes and loses all my media and work.
I deleted and downloaded iMovie again from the App Store.
I have never experienced this before.
Any advice for getting iMovie up and running again much appreciated.

Apparently it is a bug in iMovie 10.2.4 that makes it crash when exporting. The solution that has worked is to go to System Preferences/Language and Region, and change the Region to United States and the language to English.

I tried Final Cut Pro -- crash!
I exported to Compressor - failed!
I use iCloud so has that something to do with it?
