iPhoto on Big Sur

My iMacOS Big Sur version 11.4 gives me a message saying that "iPhoto isn't supported in this version of mac OS". How can I import iphoto pics to the "Photos" app on my iMac?

Launch Photos with the Option key held down, click on Other Library, and choose the iPhoto one.
