airplay won't connect

Running Big Sur 11.2.1 on a 13" Macbook Pro M1 chip. Airplay initially connected to my Samsung smart TV but would not enter full-screen mode (would go solid gray). Tried restart on both TV and laptop and now it won't connect at all. Ideas?

Airplay not working on MacBook pro m1 Monterey The airplay button doesn't show in screen prefs. Only choose another display.I have Apple tv but not sure it's working. Do I need to connect to Apple TV? On my old MacBook I could airplay directly to the tv. The prior note is over a year old & I'm wondering if this is still a known problem.

airplay from macbook to LG oled55cx I´m having a problem connecting my macbook pro 13 middle 2015 to my new LG oled55cx. The computer detect the tv and when selected in display system preferences it communicates with the tv, macbook screen changes resolution and tv becames black. After a while the computer displays the message "could not connect to Lg webos tv". Running macOS big sur 11.1 and airplay version on TV 25.06. Any suggestions? Thanks

Have you reviewed the information in this guide published by Apple ➔ If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device?
