I recently upgraded from an iPhone6 to a iPhone8plus and now I can't AirDrop from my MacBook Air to the iPhone8 like I did with the iPhone6. How do I do it?
Any help would be much appreciated.

You updated from a very old iPhone to a somewhat newer iPhone. You haven’t told us about your Mac’s age.
You need a 2012 Mac or later using OS X Yosemite or later (except a 2012 MacBook Pro, which would also not work).
