How to update airpods pro firmware

Connect your phone to WiFi.

Plug into a charger, both the phone and case.

Connect the AirPods to your phone, play something for at least a minute.

Put the AirPods back in the case, leave it near your phone.

Go do something else for about 20 minutes.

If an update was available it should now be updated.

You don’t.

Apple does not officially release information about firmware updates for Airpods.

Sites that cover Apple usually put out an article.

Firmware version I have is 3E751

If it doesn't work, repeat the process.

You don't need much to get it updated. What's actual issue? What are you trying to do but cannot? If you would give more information, we could suggest more.

and where does one find out the most up-to-date firmware version number?

After I did the steps above, it didn't take affect right away, but like 3 minutes later I checked and it was updated to the latest firmware. thank you.
