My iMessages are in Portrait mode but the keyboard is in landscape

Hi, I like to use my phone in Portrait mode. For some reason, my iMessages are in Portrait mode but the keyboard is in landscape to the right of the screen. So frustrating.... Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try a Forced Restart and if it does not help Restore it from a backup.

Thank you. A forced re-start fixed the issue. Geesh, I so miss manuals!
