As above if it is running iOS 12.5.4, it is not an iPhone 6S.
The iPhone 6S can run iOS 14.6.
The iPhone 6 is not compatible with iOS 13 or 14.

Sorry, it is not possible for an iPhone 6S to run iOS 12.5.4. You have an iPhone 5S, 6, or 6 Plus. Neither can be updated further.
