no warranty?

Hello, I have been a user of the iPhone 11 device since April 22, 2021, and my device got wet with plain water while I was washing my hands, after which my SIM card stopped working and moisture appeared on the cameras. The other day I took it to an authorized service center where they told me that as soon as the cell phone comes in contact with water, the warranty is lost and I wonder why it is advertised to be waterproof if it is not? In the end I had to pay € 50 to dry my cell phone and lose the FaceID option.

The iPhone is not advertised as waterproof. It is advertised as water resistant, and it clearly states in the specs and the warranty that water damage is not covered. You also didn’t take it to Apple or an Apple authorized service provider, because they would not have charged just to dry it out. They actually would have told you to dry it out. And a non-Apple shop would not have honored a warranty anyway. There’s a good chance the repair will be temporary, and the phone will fail at some time in the near future, because water damage is generally progressive.
