Apple iTunes Music Sound Quality?

Hi guys I just heard that either all or almost all of Apple’s 75 million songs are now lossless and or high resolution audio tracks. For years Apple Music and Apple iTunes Music have been in 256kbps AAC quality. So now that Apple Music is Lossless audio, what about Apple iTunes Music (music bought from the store)? Are they Lossless tracks too or just still AAC 256kbps? Cuz I got lots of music bought already from the store through so many years.

So overall, is iTunes Music lossless as well or just still 256kbps AAC?

I do appreciate all your opinions and or the best answer to my question.

Thank you all for your support

Kirk,

The new announcement about lossless audio applies to the Apple Music streaming service, not to the iTunes Store. See info in here:

Purchased downloads from the iTunes Store are still AAC/256, and there has been no announcement about changing that.
