Notification Canceled message

I accidentally made an emergency call while on the phone with my husband. I quickly reversed and canceled the call but my phone now is stuck on a Notification Canceled screen. I can not even turn the device off. I can receive phone calls and ask Siri some things but the screen/phone is locked on this message page.
