Photos from iphone 6 do not sync to icloud

Hello! I tried to sync my photos in my iphone 6 to icloud. However, when I go to icloud.com I could not find any photos there-like it's empty. I also tried to watch yt videos and read some articles and tried everything they have suggested.And I already purchased enough storage for my icloud. What shall I do? Thanks for helping!
