The MacBook pro I have is pre 2013 and Big Sur is not supported. It is currently running Mojave and I want to upgrade it to something newer but not Big Sur. How do I do this?

1.  Check compatibility

To confirm compatibility before downloading, check the minimum requirements for

macOS CatalinaMojaveHigh SierraSierraEl Capitan, or Yosemite.

You can also find compatibility information on the product-ID page for

MacBook ProMacBook AirMacBookiMacMac mini, or Mac Pro.
