Hi, I haven’t managed to find any information anywhere as to how I might restore all the (useful :)) tabs I had open earlier. Is it possible to do so without having to do them one by one from the history…?

Strange this would happen while you were working on another device. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover the tabs.
How did you accidentally close these tabs? If you force closed Safari, there is no way to restore them. You would have to re-open the individual tabs.
I don’t know to be honest (!), I was multitasking on the iMac at the same time, not mine or connected.
Were you logged in with your Apple ID on the iMac? That would be the only thing I could think of that would have caused that to happen if you were in Safari on the iMac.
Hi Chris, it’s not my iMac so no not logged in with my Apple ID - there’s no iCloud connection between the two unfortunately :(
Yes strange but as it’s my partner’s Mac set up on his iCloud etc etc, I think it is just a strange coincidence, the cons of multitasking :( !
