Apple watch 5 ECG since WatchOS 7 very erratic reading. Jumping all over. Often unreadable. Never done this before. I haven’t changed the way I wear it or take the ECG. SOFTWARE UP TO DATE. Tried restarting, cleaning, tightening, everything suggested. It’s in the software obviously.

Having same issue over past 3-4 weeks, possibly just after IOS7 installed. Also, ECG auto starting without finger on crown - sometimes running for 30 seconds and documenting "poor recording" all with strange patterns. Sometimes works properly but very random. Watch was sent in for repair but returned saying hardware isn't problem. Still waiting for Apple Support to address issue.

It may be a hardware problem. I would contact Apple Support.
