Big Sur update on a 13 in MacBook Air 2017 (using Catalina)

How to resolve Big Sur error during update? I don't know how to get out of loop and start over with a new download process.

iPad, iPadOS 14

Check in the Applications folder for an Application called " Install Big Sur ". Drag and Drop to Trash and empty the Trash.

Suggest re-reading the System requirements for the Upgrade to Big Sur and make special attention to Empty Space requirements - If upgrading from macOS Sierra or later, your Mac needs 35.5GB of available storage to upgrade. Would suggest 50 GB of empty space.

Then read User Tips on Upgrade to Big Sur before attempting the upGrade again.
