Page Template Covers Header/Footer

Objects on the page template I've created for a page layout document appear on top of objects on the page. For example, here's an object occluding text in the footer.

This strikes me as dysfunctional, but I can't find a way around it. Advice is welcome.

Section break in the middle of the page Hello, I want to delete a footer but because the section break is in the middle of the page, the footer is considered to be in section 2 lets say. I can add a new fake section so the footer is in the new section but the new section adds a black page that I don't wan't in my book. Is there a way to add a section break and continue (I guess not because you can drag & drop in thumbnails, but it is worth asking the experts). I want: Section 2 (break in the middle of the page) Footer DELETED Section 3 (on a new page, not on 2 new pages) Thanks!

Header and Footer don't have 3 sections anymore Hi What is happening to Pages? Among other problems way more important, now header and footer don't have 3 sections, only one, and, for instance, I can't add a page number in the middle of the footer, o no, now i can only add one in the side. Baffling. Maybe there's a reason crap and app rhyme. Any ideas? royks

Text box moving with page but covers footer, and not header. I have a text box near the bottom of my page that is set to "move with page", when I put content about the text box it moves down, content that isn't in the text box jumps to the next page, but the text box continues down and covered the footer until it hits the margin and then jumps to the next page. When it does this, it doesn't cover the header. Is this a bug or is there a setting I can change to stop this happening?

I solved the problem by not using headers/footers at all. Instead, I created text blocks on the page template, and inserted page numbers in them. I hadn't realized it was possible to insert variable data in shape.
