iCloud photos library

my photos library on my MAC desktop has been "restoring from iCloud" for several days. I recently uploaded lots of photos from my iPhone to the desktop, but now I can't access them from my phone because of this problem. any suggestions? I've restarted, toggled iCloud photos off and on...not sure what else to do.

Photos will not sync with iCloud images from iPhone I got my iPhone 14 pro after my macbook pro 13" with M1 chip. Photos will not work with iCloud. I have tried everything and it will not let me sync or get rid of the an old photos library. Please help as I want to chuck this into the river!!!

“Unable to upload” in Utilities on my iPhone 1 While I was trying to download pictures and videos in my desktop (not Mac) I realized that iCloud photos were not up to date. Then I found in my photos app an album, under the “utilities” section, with the title, “unable to upload”. These are all photos and videos been taken from my iPhone 13 and none of them have been imported to my phone. Therefore, I assume that there is no chance for them to be non compatible to iCloud. Plus, my iCloud storage is up to 50gb and the remaining free storage is more than 40gb. And of course iCloud for photos is always on. Whatever solution I found on internet didn’t help me. Anyone could help me how to sync those photos to iCloud?

What happened to cause photos to need to restore from iCloud?

In any case, if you have toggled iCloud on/off, then that will just restart the sync from the beginning, or will force a complete new sync if one is not already started.

How big is your library? You may just need to be patient. My 5000 image 50GB library took 48 hours full time to sync.
