Why is autocorrect changing whole words!? Even if spelled correctly, it

Why is autocorrect changing whole words!? Even if spelled correctly, it has begun to change whole words to something else that it *thinks* I meant to use. It's out of control! The predictive spelling is bad enough but to now change words that were typed correctly is incredibly frustrating.

Happens on my iPhone 8 and by MacBook Pro.
