When I connect my lighting headphones to my brand new iPhone 12 Pro it fixed properly but I won’t work properly, I tried 3 headphones(originals) with this phone but the problem is same! Please what should i do?

all components would have a mean time to fail which is just a statistical number, so some last for eons long some are dead on arrival, most are in between

could be dirt / lint in the connector, when that happens to me I use a match or toothpick to clear it out and resolve it
but of cause it could also be a broken connector in the iphone
I do clean but problem is still same, can it happen for brand new phones?
