Hi
I have an iphone 12. My friend has an Android phone and an ipad.
When I text/imessage him, it goes to the ipad and not the phone.
The ipad does not have a data plane, so it only uses wifi to connect.
Many of my texts go unanswered until he uses his ipad.
Is the problem on my end or his?

Are you sending to his Android cellular telephone number, or to an email address? And if he had an iPhone with that same number before, he needs to disassociate that number from his iMessage account -> Add or remove your phone number in Messages or FaceTime - Apple Support

I am sending it to his phone number, I think. Any idea how I can check on that?
