How do I get Spotify working on my Apple Watch?

How do I get Spotify working on my Apple Watch (cellular) so I don’t need my phone? The watch seems to try to connect but it doesn’t work.

Downloading music from Spotify to Apple watch I am looking to get an apple watch that I can download music to so that I can listen to music when I go on a run without bringing my phone. Spotify && Apple Watch Is there any way to request a feature for Spotify to play on the apple watch without the iphone being near it??? I literally bought the watch with cell service so that I could run without having to carry my phone. I'm pretty disappointed that I can't run without my phone without downloading an external app to help me play music from the watch itself. I also have no desire to switch from Spotify to Apple Music. *crying*

Try uninstall and reinstall too. Their download feature has just started rolling out.
