How do I know if the music i re-downloaded is lossless?

The article said to delete and re-download from the “Apple Music catalog”. Not sure what that means but I simply went to the album, deleted the song and downloaded it right back. Is it lossless now? Is there a way to tell?

A lossless track (either dowloaded or not) shows the Lossless icon when played just under the playback progress bar.

If it's present then it's lossless. Tapping on the icon it gives you informations about sample rate.

You have, of course, activate lossless in Music preferences first.

Keep in mind that currently 20 millions tracks in Apple Music catalogue are lossless. By the end of the year the whole catalogue (over 75 millions tracks) will be covered.
