Mac loses space after removing bootcamp

Mac Version:

Big Sur, 11.4

I used bootcamp assistant to remove my Windows Bootcamp (80 GB). The space is gone after the removal. I cannot see it in disk utility.

Doing diskutil list in terminal gives:

I can see my 80 GB space listed as "free space" but cannot find a way to merge it into my APFS disk. I have tried

sudo diskutil apfs resizeContainer disk0s2 0

and

diskutil repairvolume disk0s2

in repair mode. Neither works.

Is there anyway to resolve this without backing up and reformatting the entire disk? Much appreciated!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4

Run

diskutil eraseVolume free free disk0s3

diskutil apfs resizeContainer disk1 0g

and post the output. You are not supposed to have Apple_Boot entry. This is a known issues with BC Assistant.
