There is no USB port and i have tried to reset the unit using the remote but it still blinks
I have tried multiple HDMI and different TVs around the house but no luck
any suggestions or ideas ?

It means that the system software will need to be restored. Unfortunately, users can’t do this themselves for the 4K model. Please contact Apple Support about that. They should be able to help you out.
