I use WeekCal as my calendar app on my iPad. All of a sudden I get a security alert purportedly from Apple saying repair may be needed to fix malware and to click on the link to repair your iPhone (even though it’s my iPad). I’m leery of clicking on the link. But now there are hundreds of entries in my calendar. Any ideas?

If running iOS 13 or earlier versions, check: Settings - Passwords & Accounts - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.
If running iOS 14, check: Settings - Calendar - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.
