display does not go into sleep mode after OS upgrade big sur
My display does not go into sleep mode after the OS upgrade to big sur 11.4. Nothing I have done is working. The screensaver will not work either.

Hi Luis,
Thanks. My screen did dim and then shut off in safe mode. It also did the same from a new account. Interestingly, after I rebooted (after doing all of the above) it now appears to be working. Here is the full etracheck report:
It may be a one-off incident, but you do have a lot of old stuff that may cause issues with the more recent OS.

The Lacie and Seagate stuff is very old, and not needed. Your mac does not need third party drive vendor software.
The Paragon software is needed if you want to read and write to NTFS formatted drives, but if you use make sure it is fully up to date.
[Edit: it seems to be]
Ok thanks. I have no idea how to get rid of that stuff. Can I do it with some instruction or do I have to bring my Mac in to Apple? Or is it just a matter of finding those things and deleting them?
